Tony rose to fame in the 80s and starred in the hugely successful British “Hose Line Is It Anyway?” He was best known for his quick wit and improvisational talent. — Not long ago the show was remade for US audiences.
His comic career also included roles in “Jeeves and Wooster”, the sketch comedy series “A Bit of Fry and Laurie”. Stephen Fry And Hugh Laurieand several stage productions.
Tony was recently touring a comedy show in England and launched a podcast, “Tony Slattery’s Rambling Club.”
He was 65 years old.
