Sad news from Russell Wilson …her beloved dog is dead.
The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback announced the heartbreaking update on his Instagram page a few minutes ago … revealing his great Dane, MrHe passed away on Friday morning.
“I got you my rookie year, and you have been a blessing to our family with our 4 kids and so many memories, hugs and kisses from us,” Russ said in an emotional note to his late dog.
“You will be a part of us forever. Today was hard.”
Wilson shared that Prince battled cancer twice in his life … but somehow beat it — and lived to be 12 years old.
“Heaven got a good one!” said Wilson, who shares two other Great Danes with his wife, ciara. “Prince of peace forever. Love you.”
Fans of the former Super Bowl champion shared their condolences in the comments section of his post … with one saying, “It’s so much harder when it’s been there since puppyhood. I feel so much for you. .”
