Haldon is surprised that the film didn’t take off at the box office competition, but he believes that’s because people aren’t branching out for something new and original – although he admits that RW doesn’t have the star power here e.g. He does in the UK. .
Haldoon says a lot of people are piling on the CGI-chimp-starring biopic of Robbie just because it’s trending to hit a flop — but really, the haters haven’t even looked to know. What are they dismissing?
He believes the film will find its groove on streaming — with all the hate it’s received, people will be dying to see this “weird monkey movie,” as he calls it now — in making a Future cult classic!

They’re targeting the Mandalay Bay Hotel, a venue close to their hearts as Robbie dropped a reference to it on his track “Me and My Monkey” – guess you could say it’s their big day. There is a monkey-proof place for!
