The legendary sportscaster — who has worked play-by-play on some NFL games this season — promoted TB12’s debut in color commentary … Brady is “the one and only” at LAX this month.
Ison loves the fact that the future Hall of Famer can talk about every single issue that comes up in the game — including injuries, winning, losing and playing into his 40s.
“He can talk about anything,” Ison said. “He can talk about being overlooked in the draft, he can talk about getting famous really quickly. He can talk about being really pedigreed. He can talk about getting a knee blown out and coming back from it. He can talk about going 10. without winning and then he can talk about changing teams and winning there again.
“He is truly one-of-a-kind.”
Of course, there are plenty of football fans who would disagree with Ison’s opinion … especially after Brady. Initial appearance during the Cowboys vs. Browns season-opener in Cleveland.
Some viewers have called him stiff and boring … but it’s clear that Eason doesn’t feel that way.
“It’s a difficult endeavor to start being concise and informative and entertaining between snaps,” he said. “It’s not easy. And I think he’s doing a great job.”
Brady will have a chance to take fans to Iason’s camp later Thursday … He’s slated to be in the booth for the Giants’ afternoon tilt vs. the Cowboys on Fox.
