The Navy Midshipmen and No. 22 Army Black Knights face off this week in a historic contest at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland. The game will take place on Saturday, December 14, and is scheduled to begin at 3 pm ET/12 pm PT.
Army moved to No. 22 in the rankings, which were released Sunday along with the rest of the College Football Playoff bracket, after beating Tulane to win the American Athletic Conference. Navy, with an 8-3 record, did not finish in the top 25 at the end of the season, but both Armed Forces teams would advance to a bowl game after this matchup.
The Black Knights will face Marshall in the Independence Bowl, and Navy will face Oklahoma in the Armed Forces Bowl.
