But this is A big one for the singer’s loved ones, who are clearly worried about his well-being after his disastrous performance.


Billy Ray’s time on stage was marred by technical and vocal issues, but according to son Trace Cyrus, something bigger could be brewing.
Trace Cyrus expressed concern about Billy Ray
“Sadly, the man I so desperately wanted to be is the one I just recognized,” Trace wrote on Instagram This week, with a photo of himself and Billy Ray.
“It looks like the world has defeated you and it’s obvious to everyone but you. You may be mad at me for posting this but I really could care less at this point. Me and the girls have been really worried about you for years but you have pushed us all away.


“We are all hanging on to memories of the man we once knew and looking forward to the day he returns. You are not healthy dad and everyone is seeing it. “
From there, Trace reveals that he is sober, and suggests that Billy Ray may want to take steps to protect his own health.
“As I write this with tears in my eyes I hope you realize that this message only comes from a place of love and also fear that the world may lose you very soon. I love you dad,” she wrote.


“We haven’t spoken in a while but I’ve been clean for over a year and a half. guess what? I feel amazing.
“I don’t know what exactly you’re struggling with but I think I have a great idea and I’d love to help you if you’d be open to help.”
Conflict between family and politics
Billy Ray’s decision to perform at the inauguration Always controversial, but he says he wouldn’t have missed it for the world. And he still holds the position despite mixed reactions to his performance.


“I will not miss the honor of playing this event whether my microphone, guitar and monitors work or not. I was there because President Donald J. Trump invited me, the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer wrote on Instagram this week.
“I had a ball last night at the Liberty Ball and I’ve learned over the years that when the producer says, ‘You’re on,’ you entertain the people even if the equipment goes to hell. I was there for the people and we had a blast. It’s called rock n roll!!!”
