Not surprisingly, it seems King Charles’ battle with cancer has brought her closer to her eldest son Prince William.
Also surprising is the fact that Charles’s health problems put him in a reflective mood and prompted him to offer advice to the future king.
But while you might expect Charles to be advising his son on how to carry out the duties of the throne, it seems the king is focusing on far more personal matters.

King Charles gave Prince William marriage advice
According to journalist and royal expert Ingrid Seward, Charles recently warned William not to repeat the mistakes he made in their marriages.
“[His father] said, ‘Look, William, there’s nothing more important than your family,'” Seward claimed in a recent interview. Fox News.
“‘Don’t make the mistakes I made,'” he said, referring to Charles:

“‘I just did duty, duty, duty. I neglected my marriage, and look what happened.’
Charles’s marital history
Charles has been married to Queen Camilla since 2005, but the couple’s walk down the aisle was not an easy one.
They first met at a polo match in 1970, but their budding marriage was interrupted by Charles’ stint in the Royal Navy.

Both he and Camilla married other people and later divorced.
First wife of Charles and mother of William, Princess Diana was killed in a car accident in 1997 At the age of 36.
Charles and Diana’s marriage was famously fraught, and the two separated on contentious terms.

But by the time of Diana’s death, she and Charles had a civil co-parenting arrangement, and he was reportedly devastated by her passing.
William’s position
William’s love life has taken a more conventional path, but it has not been without its challenges.

During 2024, Kate Middleton was fighting cancerannouncing in September that he had completed his treatment.
Now, as she and William prepare for their new lives as king and queen, Charles is eager to offer sage advice.
And it seems her life of royal duty has ironically taught her that nothing is more important than family.
