‘Full House’ star’s cancer treatment getting ‘more difficult’, says Dave Collier’s wife

Back in November, the world learned this Dave Coulier was diagnosed with cancer.

Dave said at the time that he was optimistic. He hasn’t offered any public updates since then, but on Thursday his wife, Melissa Coulier, brought fans up to speed.

Dave Coulier’s wife offers a cancer update

Speaking to Detroit radio station WXYZ, Melissa revealed that Dave’s treatment has presented some significant challenges.

“He has some really hard days, and as the chemo builds up, it gets a little harder and more difficult,” He said.

He noted, however, that Dave’s positive attitude and famous sense of humor remain intact.

“He has such a positive attitude, and you really need that to fight through,” he added.

“Every morning, if he feels up to it, we try to put on a song and have a little dance party with the dogs, because when you feel good, you have to celebrate him too.”

Melissa added that Dave and his family have been affected by cancer in the past.

“I think it’s natural in him. She has suffered a lot in her life when it comes to dealing with cancer. He lost his mother, his sister, his niece. His other sister had,” he said.

“I think for him, he takes every step and really draws strength from seeing the women who were so close in his life to be empowered by that, and he just wants to honor them.”

Dave opens up

Sharing his diagnosis with fans, Dave revealed that he is optimistic about his chances of a full recovery.

“My doctors called me back, and they said, ‘We wish we had good news for you, but you have non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and it’s called B cell and it’s very aggressive,'” Cullier said. said last year.
