Almost a month after going public with her boyfriend, Zach Wise, the TLC personality made it clear on Dec. 16 that the relationship is serial.
Because the couple is engaged!
“When we were in each other’s arms we were overwhelmed by all the emotions that brought us to the moment where we could feel the pure joy of that commitment,” Plath told People magazine on Monday. Yes, that’s what we were going to do.”
The 20-year-old added that it was an “emotional occasion”.
The future spouses also shared photos of their engagement with the aforementioned publication, with the reality star wearing a red dress and proudly showing off her new engagement ring.

Just three weeks ago, Plath uploaded a series of photos of her and Zach together against a beautiful mountain backdrop, her caption expressing gratitude for the moment she found and engaged her now-fiancé.
“Words cannot express how grateful I am that the Lord brought you into my life!” Lydia wrote in November.
“You never cease to amaze me with the adventures we take, support me through every high and low, and fill every moment with joy as we pursue the Lord together.”
First, without naming Wise, Plath celebrated National Boyfriend Day in October by writing a message as follows:
Happy National Boyfriend Day! You are a blessing from the Lord and have brought so much joy into my life! I can’t wait to see what the future holds!
For her part, Plath shared the engagement news on her Instagram, calling Lydia “the love of my life.”
Lydia, meanwhile, is Kim and Barry Plath’s fifth child.
He, his parents and his siblings have starred in Welcome to Plathville since 2019… as the series chronicles the family’s daily life, including their strong and conservative Christian fundamentalist beliefs.

Not long ago, Lydia confirmed her engagement on social media, writing:
