Dave Chappelle returned to host “Saturday Night Live” this week, delivering a monologue to tackle everything from diddyThe message of the president-elect legal troubles Donald Trump.
The comedian pulled no punches on the show earlier this week addressing the ongoing legal drama surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs. Chappelle noted that he’s never seen anything like Diddy currently saying, “I’ve been in a lot of trouble in my day, but this guy Puffy — man, this guy’s in a lot of trouble. I don’t think I’ve never seen anything like it.”
Chappelle poked fun at himself, recalling how his friends questioned his absence from Diddy’s infamous “freak-off” parties with Chappelle, “I thought about it for a minute and I said, Oh my god – I’m ugly. Can you imagine no one calling me behind your back?”
At the end of his 17-minute monologue, the comedian switched gears to address Donald Trump. He appealed to the President-elect to rise above the mediocre, saying, “The presidency is no place for the mediocre. People are counting on you whether they voted for you or not. The whole world is counting on you. is doing.”
