Wildfires continue to wreak havoc in Southern California, forcing more than 30,000 people to evacuate their homes.
The area is home to countless celebrities, many of whom have been deeply affected by this historic disaster.
One such star is Ben Affleck, who was forced to leave the $20.5 million Pacific Palisades mansion he bought just five months ago.


Ben Affleck evacuated amid deadly wildfire
Affleck reportedly closed on the five-bedroom, six-bathroom in July 2024, shortly after his Separated from Jennifer Lopez.
Lopez and Affleck finalized their divorce earlier this week.
Now, Ben’s turbulent 2025 continues, viz Page Six Stating that his house is within the mandatory evacuation zone.


The outlet also reported that Affleck went straight to his first wife, Jennifer Garner, who lives with her and Ben’s three children, Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 12.
According to Page Six, Garner lives “Joe Affleck lives a short distance away, but in an area not yet affected by the fire.
The day of destruction


The fires started on Tuesday morning, and sadly they are still far from being contained.
High wind warnings remain in place through this evening, and it is too early to begin calculating damage. The Los Angeles Times reports that at least two people were killed and more than 1,000 homes and businesses were destroyed.
And of course, Ben is far from the only celebrity affected by the disaster.


Several other stars have been devastated by this week’s fire, including James Woods and Anna Faris, both of whose homes were destroyed by the flames.
