After two days of battling wildfires that have burned thousands of acres, residents of Los Angeles County received a wildfire evacuation warning Thursday afternoon that turned out to be an error. Shortly after, officials sent out a follow-up alert saying the notice was only for people near the Kenneth Fire in Woodland Hills.
Los Angeles County shared A message on X Explaining what happened: “An evacuation order was mistakenly issued countywide for residents near the Kenneth Fire currently burning in the West Hills. The warning was only for residents of Calabasas and Agoura Hills.
