8 Mind-Blowing Gadgets I Need in My Life at CES 2025

every CES A glimpse into the future of technology. Well, for us tech writers and reviewers, it’s also about bending over crowds of people to catch a glimpse of a laptop, and walking around a lot to snap photos of gadgets. But this year’s CES made all of our collective efforts here at Mashable truly worthwhile, because it delivered so many things that really feel like the future. Yes, this includes robotic vacuums with robotic arms.

The following list is not “best of” nor is it exhaustive. This is just a list of things revealed at CES 2025 that made me go: WANT. And, readers, there were a lot of them this year.

We already knew about it and we knew it would be a hit, but what we didn’t know was that there would be two of them.

The Roborock Service Z70 There is a robotic vacuum cleaner with an extendable robotic arm that can pick up items like socks from your floor. I’m not sure how useful it will be in everyday use, but it’s cooler than any other robotic vacuum cleaner I’ve seen so far.

But wait, there’s more. dreamsA company that also makes robotic vacuums has brought a robot vacuum of its own to CES 2025. It is currently in the prototype stage, so it will probably hit the market shortly after the Roborock Seros Z70, which should be available in April 2025.

That little thing on the left? It is a supercomputer.

I absolutely do not need this desk-sized supercomputer from Nvidia. I do not build or test artificial intelligence apps. But it’s every computer’s dream: a super-powerful computer (think Nvidia GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, 128GB of memory, and 4TB of storage) that you can actually afford, keep on your desk, and behind a book. Can hide (you won’t do it, but you can).

Being able to run large language models of up to 200-billion-parameters (about the size of ChatGPT 3.5), Nvidia points AI could single-handedly revolutionize app development when it hits the market in May, and it will do so at a starting price of $3,000.

You didn’t know you needed a solar beach umbrella, did you? But now you know, and yes, you definitely need it.

Of course, you can chill your drinks in other, less chilly ways. You can even buy Anker’s electric cooler without a solar umbrella, as its battery is big enough to last you 52 hours. But the umbrella is what will make you the best geek on the beach.

(We’re just kidding, there’s no such thing as “best geek on the beach” title.)

If you choose it Anchor Solix Solar Beach UmbrellaYou’ll get up to 100W of power for your electric beverage cooler and other devices, as well as protection from rain and sun. It doesn’t get better than this.

The worst-kept secret before CES 2025 was Nvidia’s launch of new, RTX 50-series graphics cards, and sure enough, The company is forced to.

The star of the show is the GeForce RTX 5090, a card that offers double the performance of its predecessor, the mighty RTX 4090. Details are a bit darker than we’d like, as some of this performance boost is due to Nvidia. DLSS 4 technology, which boosts fps with the help of AI, which is not supported by every game.

Still, a new king is in town, and it’ll let you play some of the most demanding games around for the eye-watering price of $1,999.

If that sounds like too much (it is), you can go for the more affordable, $999 RTX 5080, $799 5070 Ti, or the RTX 5070, which retails for $549. You won’t get flagship performance, but it should outperform all 40-series cards, and that’s a big deal if you’re into gaming.

Imagine this: you are sitting in a cafe, ordering an espresso. You pull out the laptop, open it up…and then the screen goes up. and long and longer, until it reaches a size of 16.7 inches and a resolution of 2,000 x 2,350. You are now the king of this cafe. Even the normally apathetic barista is flaunting your powerful laptop.

Geeky wet dreams aside, Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 is a practical machine. It’s a normal laptop, but it gives you a nice chunk of extra screen real-estate for its rollable OLED display, and I can’t think of a reason why you’d say no.

Well, there’s a reason: This thing will cost $3,499 when it hits the market in June. Well, that’s a great reason. You, the money, and the fact that you don’t make it rain.

Segway, the company once known for two-wheeled transporters that gave way to e-scooters and e-bikes in the late 2010s, CES 2025 brought a bunch of new personal electric vehicles.

One that caught my eye, however, was the Segway Zyber. It’s like a hybrid between a race bike and a rugged e-cycle, and even though it can go from 0 to 20 mph in just 2.7 seconds, it’s worth pedaling if you want to keep using your power. are The massive, 2,880Wh battery provides a range of 112 miles, meaning you can take it anywhere.

Yes, this is the first 32-inch, 6K monitor with Thunderbolt 5 supportThat means it should pair well with the M4 Pro MacBook Pro and Mac Mini.

And yes, we don’t really know all the specs including its refresh rate. or price. or date of availability. (We know it has a Nano IPS black panel with a wide color gamut that covers 99.5% of Adobe RGB and 98% of DCI-P3, but that’s about it).

But look at the thing. It has almost no bezel. It’s just a beautiful, 6K display on a stand, and the stand is of an equally minimalist design. This would be perfect for my MacBook Pro. Actually, don’t tell me the price, LG. please Just let me enjoy this moment.

Honda’s new 0 series electric car prototype Not exactly new; The company first debuted these last January during CES 2024. Now, we have seen the next iteration of Honda 0 Saloon and Honda 0 SUV, and they look even better than before. If ever there were cars that “screamed the future, but as imagined in the 1980s”, it’s the Prototype.

Let’s hope the original mass market versions don’t stray too far from this design when they go on sale in 2026, first in the US, and then in Japan and Europe.

Wait, you want specs? Sorry about that: Honda didn’t really share much. They will be powered by Honda’s ASIMO OS, and should come with Level 3 autonomous driving. We know nothing about the powertrain or the battery. But they look great, and this will do for now.
