The first season of Dun: Prophecy Almost done – but there’s more on the way. Ahead of the finale on December 22, HBO has confirmed that the prequel series has been renewed for a second season.
The show premiered in November, and takes place 10,000 years before the events of of the mound Films from Denis Villeneuve. It stars Emily Watson and Olivia Williams as two Harkonnen sisters who form the galaxy-defining sect known as the Bene Gesserit.
“If you know the Harkonnens from the movies, they’re these horrible villains who are very obviously bad guys,” Showrunner Alison Schepker said Verge About the series. “But that’s not where they started, and this kind of story gave us an opportunity to complicate that understanding and build on them.
