There was at least one hiccup on an otherwise perfect night for Ohio State on Monday … carrying a golf cart. Ryan Day And some of the star players hit a wall — and the collision was so bad, a passerby had to ask if everyone was OK.
It happened after the Buckeyes defeated Notre Dame 34-23 in the College Football Playoff National Championship … when the day, Will Howard And Cody Simon Everyone was taking the elevator to their locker room.

Video shot by someone in the bowels of Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium shows a woman attempting a three-point turn in a cart … but she can’t quite make it — and the front end of the cart. A broken concrete wall.
Howard and Simon didn’t seem too upset – they laughed as they exited the wrecked ride – but Day was definitely a little shaken up.
It took a few moments for the Buckeyes head coach to land … causing an official on the field to repeatedly ask, “Everybody okay?”
Fortunately, it seems everyone involved was, in fact, all right… as they all continued with their post-game responsibilities.
Golf cart crash aside, it was a great evening to be in the red and gray … They outscored the Irish 21-7, and when it got close late in the fourth quarter, they finally scored 11. – kicked out Point win.

Howard and Simon were named the game’s MVPs … and a group of famous OSU fans — including LeBron James — were sure happy to see that.
Congratulations, Buckeye Nation!
