Wise’s latest AI feature aims to reduce the number of times you need to manually check security footage instead of describing what the camera has seen. According to Wise, the new descriptive alerts will send notifications that provide users with more contextual details than simply telling them an “accurate summary of motion events.”
An example alert provided by the company is “A delivery driver wearing a blue hat leaves a package at the door, then leaves. A green SUV is parked in the street.” Rival smart home security companies like the ring, Google’s NestAnd (somewhat) Arlo Similar AI briefs provide features for their own cameras, but Wise’s video-to-text alerts appear to be a service that specifies details like color in its description.
Wise descriptive warnings are available Cam Unlimited Pro Member – A new $19.99 per month (or $199.99 per year) subscription that bundles more features like facial recognition, Searching for videos using descriptive keywordsAs well as viewing live feeds from multiple Wise cameras. A Cam Unlimited Pro subscription will also include 60 days of cloud storage, though Wise says that won’t be available until “spring 2025.”
